No sound, just movement, slick,

Quiet, just whisperings, weak,

The unsettling silence, empty,

The momentary quiet, slowly,

There was no sound, no one spoke,

There was no one about,

Eerie, disturbingly, quietly,

Dreamily, pin-drop silently,

The silence that descends,

Human senses that ascends,

As though you are alone,

As though there is no one,

Pin drops, you stop, your throat stuck,

The silence as you scream in the dark.
